What's better than an afternoon stroll through Waterplace Park? How about an afternoon stroll with a snack in hand? The Downtown Providence Parks Network and Providence Parks Department have collaborated to bring a variety of food carts to the Waterplace Park Basin daily from 12–8 p.m. (11 a.m.–7 p.m. on Sundays) through Oct. 15.
Whether you're stretching your legs on your lunch hour, looking for that 3 o'clock pick-me-up or just want to grab a light dinner, you're sure to find a tasty treat. The rotating lineup features House of Boba, with waffles and boba tea, and Rhode Island Munchies, offering hot dogs and packaged snacks, from Monday to Thursday. Haitian.ish's pâté, a flaky pastry with savory meat filling, Ja Patty's hand pies, and Trinity Retro Ice's mocktails and ice cream novelties will be available from Thursday to Sunday.
Be sure to follow @downtownpvdparks for schedule updates, weather cancellations and daily offerings.
Get out, grab a bite and enjoy some time in Waterplace Park. You'll be glad you did!
