Saint Joseph's Festival (June 6–8) – Federal Hill's Italian American festival honors St. Joseph with authentic Italian food, live music and family-friendly fun.

Providence Porchfest (June 7) – A series of outdoor concerts on East Side neighborhood porches, featuring more than 150 artists.

Day of Portugal (June 7–8) – This celebration of Portuguese culture includes entertainment from local and international performers, delicious cuisine and a festive parade.

RI PrideFest (June 21) – Rhode Island's signature celebration of love, respect and joy features nonprofit organizations and businesses, food vendors and live entertainment all day, followed by the Illuminated Light Parade at 8 p.m.

Rhode Island Caribbean American Heritage Festival (June 21) – Enjoy food, music, culture and more in celebration of National Caribbean-American Heritage Month.

Juneteenth RI Festival (June 22) – Celebrate freedom and unity at the Temple to Music in Roger Williams Park with music, dancing, food and family fun!

Newport Pride Festival (June 28) – Celebrate community and promote love and inclusivity at Newport Pride. Join the parade on Saturday morning then head to the Great Friends Meeting House for an afternoon of local vendors, performers and music.

Cape Verdean Independence Day Festival (July 6) – Celebrating its 50th year, this vibrant festival showcases Cape Verdean music, dance and food in India Point Park. 

Wickford Art Festival (July 12–13) – Over 200 artists showcase their fine art in a variety of mediums including ceramics, wood, drawing, mixed media, painting, photography and more.

FringePVD (July 13–26) – Fun, fearless and affordable theater produced by local emerging and established performing artists.

Newport Dance Festival (July 16–20) – The festival stage on the lawn of the Great Friends Meeting House features unique dances from local and visiting dance companies.

Puerto Rican Bay Fest (July 20) – Celebrate Puerto Rican culture at India Point Park with music, food, drinks, family friendly entertainment and more.

Charlestown Seafood Festival (Aug. 1–3) – Three days of Rhode Island's best seafood, arts and crafts, amusement rides, a car show and even fireworks!

African Summer Bash (Aug. 2) – Save the date for Oasis International's annual summer festival at Dexter Field celebrating African culture.

Flickers' Rhode Island International Film Festival (Aug. 5–10) – This prestigious festival features independent films, director Q&As and special screenings across the city.
