Movies on the Block was a staple of the downtown summer scene in the past but has been on hiatus in recent years because of construction on Grant's Block. For the first time since 2019, the popular outdoor film series will be back with four showings at Grant's Block, once a month from June to September.

Screenings will take place at dusk on the third Thursday of each month and InDowncity is partnering with downtown restaurants to offer curated food concessions available during the movie.
Put these dates on your calendar today:
June 26 – "Waiting for Guffman"
July 24 – "Mermaids"
Aug. 28 – "Clue"
Sept. 25 – "The Wizard of Oz"
The event is free and open to the public. Just remember to bring a blanket or beach chair, as bench seating in the park is very limited.
Movies on the Block is sponsored by InDowncity, Cornish Associates and the downtown business community.
