Spring is in the air, and so is a whole lot of pollen. As soon as we stop sneezing, we'll be ready for some outdoor fun! Let's take a look at what's happening at the PWCVB and with you, our partners.
PWCVB UPDATES
Providence is nominated for Most Walkable City to Visit in the USA Today 10Best Readers' Choice Awards. We're currently in first place, so be sure to vote today (and every day until June 17) to help us stay at number 1!
Our GoProvidence.com website recently got a glow up and we think it looks fabulous. But don't take our word for it. Take a scroll through the pages and have a chat with Red, our virtual tour guide. (You might recognize him from BuyLocalRI.org.)
If you haven't heard an episode of PVD POV, you're missing out. Alana O'Hare, senior director of communications and special projects, and Nicholas Millard, director of digital media, chat with the movers and shakers of Providence. Early guests include Jonathan Walker, director of sports sales, and Jamie Antignano of Angelo's.
The spring/summer edition of the GoProvidence Visitors Guide is out and fully stocked at the Visitor Center and has been distributed throughout the state. A digital version is also available. Thank you to all of our advertisers. Don't forget — additional advertising and sponsorship opportunities are available year-round. Contact Christine Phillips, senior director of community & public affairs, for more info.
If you have any summer vacation specials or other warm weather events planned, please let us know so we can share them. And, as always, please be sure to add any events or promotions to our online calendar. If you have any questions or difficulties, please reach out to Community Affairs Coordinator Sandra Olson.
