It's official — GoProvidence is the best!

GoProvidence (Providence Warwick Convention & Visitors Bureau) President and CEO Kristen Adamo announced at last night's Annual Meeting that the bureau was once again awarded the Stella Award for “Best Convention and Visitors Bureau in the Northeast” and named a Meetings Today “Best CVB in the East.” These prestigious national honors reflect GoProvidence’s continued excellence in destination marketing, client service and visitor experience.

“We’re incredibly proud to be recognized on the national stage,” said Adamo. “These awards are a testament to the hard work of our team and the strength of our partnerships across Rhode Island. What makes them especially meaningful is that they’re voted on by the very planners and clients we serve — people who’ve experienced our hospitality firsthand and chose to celebrate it. That kind of recognition is deeply personal, and it reinforces our commitment to delivering exceptional service every single day.”

The Stella Awards, presented by Northstar Meetings Group, honor excellence in the meetings industry across multiple categories. The GoProvidence staff was recognized for being able to “leverage Providence’s flexible resources and creative energy in a way that allows meeting planners to be innovative in curating their event experiences,” according to Northstar’s announcement. GoProvidence most recently received this award in 2023.

Meetings Today’s “Best CVBs” list highlights bureaus that provide exceptional service to planners for their meetings and events. Inclusion on this list reflects GoProvidence's commitment to hospitality. The CVB landed on this list in 2024, as well.
