August 5 is National Oyster Day and we've rounded up all kinds of deals for you! Whether you're digging some buck-a-shuck specials or want a behind-the-scenes peek at where oysters are grown, look no further for everything you need to have a shucking good time.
Providence Oyster Deals
Providence Oyster Bar offers their Buck-a-Shuck Appy Hour, with raw bar and appetizer specials daily from 3–6 p.m. at their Federal Hill and East Greenwich locations. Over on the East Side, Mill's Tavern and Pizzico Oyster Bar also have daily half-price raw bar specials. If you want to get a little fancy, head to Nick's on Broadway for their Rosé + Oysters special — get a half dozen oysters and a glass of rosé for $24 or splurge on a dozen and a bottle for $54. And if you're looking to continue the National Oyster Day celebration a little longer, stop by Parkside Rotisserie & Bar on Tuesdays and Fridays for $1 oysters from 5 p.m. until they run out.

Venturing outside Providence? Grab the buck-a-shuck deal at Greenwich Bay Oyster Bar (3–6 p.m. Mon.–Fri. and 12–4 p.m. on weekends) in downtown East Greenwich or stop by Cork & Rye in Warwick for their Half Shell Happy Hour (Mon.–Thurs. 4–7 p.m. and Sat. & Sun. 12–3 p.m.) and get half price on all raw bar items. While you're in Warwick, check out The Crow's Nest for daily half-price raw bar from 3–5 p.m. Over in the East Bay, you can get half-price raw bar and apps every day from 4–6 p.m. at the East Bay Oyster Bar in Barrington or $1 oysters at DeWolf Tavern in Bristol every Monday starting at noon.
