For the fifth year in a row, the well-loved Food Truck Friday series will return on April 19, 2019.
Since 2015, food trucks from around the state have set up shop every Friday all summer long in front of Carousel Village at Roger Williams Park in Providence, RI. The event has grown quickly, starting with a six-truck lineup and progressing to more than 15 trucks, which serve meals, beer, wine, snacks, desserts and more.
Families and groups of all ages can sample various cuisines while they explore the lot, set up a picnic blanket on the green, or tune into the live act of the night.
To commemorate this milestone, the first customers at the April 19 and April 26 events can purchase reusable mugs and utensils for $35 while supplies last. This price includes a specially designed 5th anniversary beer mug (with one free pour at Trinity Brewhouse’s beer tent) and a set of bamboo cutlery.
Limited-edition anniversary T-shirts are also available for purchase throughout the season.

This year’s lineup welcomes back fan favorites such as Buddha Belly, Championship Melt, Friskie Fries, Gotta Q BBQ, Haven Brothers and Presto Strange O Coffee. These popular trucks are in rotation along with 50 other local vendors.
Food Truck Friday runs every Friday at Carousel Village in Roger Williams Park from April 19 through September 27. Attendees only pay for food and drinks — admission and parking are free.
