Trinity Rep

In 2014, Trinity Rep was named the State Theater of Rhode Island in celebration of its 50th anniversary. Since its founding in 1963, Trinity Rep has been one of the most respected regional theaters in the country. Featuring the last permanent resident acting company in America, Trinity Rep presents a balance of world premiere, contemporary, and classic works for an estimated annual audience of approximately 145,000. The theater has produced dozens of world premieres, mounted national and international tours, and, through its MFA program, trained hundreds of new actors and directors. Project Discovery is Trinity Rep's pioneering educational outreach program. Trinity Rep’s educational programs reach thousands of Rhode Island, Massachusetts and Connecticut students through matinees, as well as in-school residencies and workshops. Brown University/Trinity Rep offers professional training for actors and directors in a three-year MFA program. Trinity Rep is fully handicapped accessible, with elevator service to the second floor theater. Assistive Listening Devices (headphones or loops) are also available.

Veterans Memorial Auditorium (The VETS)

The VETS has held a unique place in the cultural life of Rhode Island as a performance venue for legendary artists, local performers and community traditions. The VETS is located on the revitalized Avenue of the Arts across from the Rhode Island State House. With just over 1,900 seats, it is acclaimed for its unique combination of size and intimacy. The theater celebrates flawless acoustics, a breathtaking proscenium stage and an exquisite interior.
