Brunch is the ultimate meal for all occasions. Whether you're fueling up for the day ahead or recovering from the night before, check out some of the best spots in the Providence area to combine two of the best meals of the day.
Providence's two newest hotels aren't just a place to spend the night but also offer incredible options to start your day. Bellini Providence, located on the ground floor of The Beatrice, hosts brunch on Saturdays and Sundays filled with everything from sharable plates to full Italian-inspired entrees. Meanwhile, Aloft Downtown Providence's rooftop bar, Blu Violet, hosts Sunday morning brunch with small bites, creative cocktails and a live DJ.
Elsewhere downtown, you'll find several brunch options on the weekends. The George on Washington's Sunday brunch features something for everyone, from bottomless mimosas and breakfast classics, to craveable sandwiches and burritos. A few blocks away, Res American Bistro hosts brunch on the third Sunday of each month. The menu includes plenty of options, and the location is perfect for a bite before a matinee at Trinity Rep or the Providence Performing Arts Center. And be sure to try Sarto's Sunday brunch for a cold brew martini and an Italian Pop Tart!
Make no mistake, there's no shortage of brunch options throughout the rest of the city. Serving up brunch from Wednesday through Sunday, Nicks on Broadway on the West Side offers a long list of favorites featuring fresh local ingredients. Check out CAV in the Jewelry District for Brioche French Toast a la CAV in one of Providence's most eclectic dining spaces. Or head over to Waterman Grille on the East Side for an al fresco morning bite alongside the Seekonk River. Of course, Sunday brunch in the heart of historic Federal Hill is hard to beat. Grab a table at Massimo for unique breakfast dishes and fresh hot paninis paired with an extensive cocktail list. At the Patio on Broadway, brunch isn't just for Sundays. Their brunch menu is available all weekend, as well as Monday, Thursday and Friday!
Just a few minutes south, Cranston is home to a couple of tasty options as well. Crepe Corner has more than just crepes on the menu, including gluten-free and vegan options, but you'll be wise to save room to try at least one of the 17+ sweet and savory options. A full breakfast menu and cocktails are available Thursday through Tuesday. Tavern in the Square, located in Garden City Center, also offers an exhaustive weekend brunch menu.
