ARENA BOWL AREA (AHU 1-4)
The Arena Bowl Area is served by 4 (qty.) 68,000 CFM air handlers, which work in conjunction with associated return fans, REF 1A-4A and REF 1B-4B, to provide heating, cooling and ventilation to the bowl. In addition to providing HVAC to the bowl, AHUs 1-4 can work with smoke exhaust fans SEF1-5 to perform smoke evacuation for the site, as well as with the concourse AHUs.
ARENA CONCOURSE
The arena concourse operates in a similar manner but at lower CFMs. The NEXGEN Tech also checked the MERV 10 filters. In an overview, although the units do not currently have the ability to install HEPA filters, with the system type at The AMP PVD, when we add the MERV13 filters and adjust the OSA dampers and exhaust, we meet or exceed the requirements listed on the RI Department of Health website.
